Energy Union- The European Intelligent Energy Promotion Tour (Energy  Union)

Main objectives

Energy Union aims to promote the benefits of Intelligent Energy (IE) amongst European youth and policy makers in 12 EU countries, to increase the awareness level, and at the same time to mobilise them to take action in support of IE.

This will be achieved through communicating a clear and encouraging message in the framework of a well-defined and climate friendly promotion tour, implemented as ‘rail-show’.

The Energy Union Message outlines the mutual benefits of IE, with a particular focus on its benefits in terms of climate change prevention, and leading to the question ‘why has large-scale IE implementation not been not achieved yet?’.

In conclusion, the project calls on young people to take action to adopt IE attitudes and directly encourage their policy makers to support IE.
Three innovative promotion tools will be developed to communicate the message to a large audience, in a way as to make it attractive for today’s youth:

1. Political forums for youth to directly contact their policy makers
2. Interactive exhibition
3. Audiovisual music shows
