Smart-e buildings - Yes We Can Enable the Building Sector to Contribute to Reaching the 3x20 Objectives

Project Description

Smart-e buildings started on 1st  May 2010 and will, for a 36-month-period, aim to carry out a European-wide industry-led mobilisation campaign addressed to public authorities at national, regional and local levels, citizens, national/European parliamentarians as well as the media.

More in particular, the project will spread existing information on energy efficiency and renewable energy applications in buildings, thus encouraging large-scale investments in these sectors.

Inspired by the Obama election campaign, it will be set up a central interactive portal linked to social network sites which will provide tailor-made “action-enabling toolkits”, and allow for volunteering and user group space where activists can organize local activities, and see their celebrities say: “Smart-e buildings. What else?"
