Objectives

EREC is committed to the following set of objectives:

to act as a forum for exchange of information and discussion on issues related to renewable energy sources (RES) as well as to represent the European RES industry & research community;
to provide information and consultancy on renewable energies to political decision makers at international levels, national, regional and local levels;
to launch policy initiatives for the creation of a positive framework for renewable energy;
to promote European technologies, products and services on global markets.

In order to reach these objectives, EREC works on a series of international projects and organises regular conferences, workshops and events. In addition, EREC also produces, position papers, press releases and publications on renewable energy related topics (see the Documents section of the website).
