This document analyses the impact of the Campaign for Take-Off (CTO), the first European promotion campaign for the development of Renewable Energy Sources in Europe (1999-2003). It gives an overview of the main features and best performances achieved during the last 5 years in the promotion and successful replication of renewable energy sources in Europe.
